Daily Prayer for December 27 2024,
Today’s Bible Verse:
He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
2 Peter 1:17–18, NIV
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
We are amazed by how wonderful and powerful You are. We think about that special time when You told everyone how much You loved Your Son Jesus on that mountain. Just like Peter saw You show how special Jesus was, please help us see and feel Jesus’s greatness in our everyday lives.
Let Your words stay strong in our hearts, helping us remember that Jesus is our leader and how You honored Him. Help us listen carefully when You speak to us and give us the bravery to live like Jesus did.
Like the people who were there on that holy mountain, we want Your light to change us and make us better people. We want to feel Your love and power through Your words.
Amen.
