Today’s Bible Verse:
And Mary said: “My soul praises the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me – holy is his name.”
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
We come to You today with happy and thankful hearts, just like Mary did when she sang her joyful song. Like Mary, who served You with a humble heart, we want our hearts to be filled with thanks because You always think of us and care about us.
We thank You for all the amazing things You do in our lives, for Your holy name that saves us, and for all the good things You give us every day. Please help us stay humble and joyful, always eager to show others how great and faithful You are through what we say and do.
We hope our lives can show Your kindness to others, just like Mary showed her faith by saying “yes” to Your plan, which brought blessings to people throughout history.
Amen.
