Today’s Bible Verse:
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, ‘The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
our loving and kind Father, we are amazed by who You are and what You showed Moses about Yourself. Your kindness never ends, flowing like a big river. You are so patient with us and You always keep Your promises.
We know that You must deal with sin because You are fair and just, but we are so thankful that You offer forgiveness to everyone who comes to You.
Please help us to be kind and loving like You are. Give us the wisdom to follow Your truth and the bravery to honor You in everything we do. Let Your never-ending love guide us today as we try to live in a way that shows how thankful we are for Your goodness.
