Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I feel small and overwhelmed when I face Your greatness, just like John who fell down as if dead. But even in my fear and amazement, You reach out with kindness to touch me. It’s so comforting to know that You, who hold all of time in Your hands, also hold me personally. When I’m afraid of death or feeling overwhelmed, please remind me that You’ve already beaten the grave.
In my everyday problems and worries, help me remember that nothing is beyond Your control. The keys that can unlock my deepest fears are safely in Your loving hands. Please give me the courage to live bravely today, knowing that my life is protected by You.
