Today’s Bible Verse:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God, You are so good! Your Spirit helps us do amazing things. When people are sad or don’t have what they need, help me bring them happy news. When people feel stuck or scared, help me show them they can be free. When people can’t understand things, help me say words that make things clear. When I feel sad or stuck, remind me that you already made me free! Today I know you are helping everyone. Please let your love flow through my words and actions as I go through my day. Amen.
