But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I feel so peaceful knowing I truly belong with You. In a world that’s always trying to get my loyalty, please remind me that I’m part of Your kingdom first.
As I deal with today’s problems, help me live as Your representative, showing Your values in everything I do. Lord Jesus, I’m waiting for You to come back with hope and excitement. When my body feels weak or broken, comfort me by promising that You’ll completely change it.
Your power (the same power that holds the whole universe together) will remake me in Your perfect image. Until then, help me not hold too tightly to earthly stuff while strongly holding onto forever truths. May what I choose today show that my real home and hope are only found in You.
