He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God, Jesus went to a garden to talk to You. He felt sad because He had to do something very hard. Jesus got down on His knees and asked You if He could skip the hard thing. But then Jesus said He would do what You wanted, not what He wanted. We want to be like Jesus. When things are hard, we want to be strong and do what You want us to do. We know Your plans are good. Please help us trust You just like Jesus did in the garden. Amen.
