Today’s Bible Verse:
Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you!
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
we are amazed by Your incredible power. Your power so strong it can split the sky and make mountains shake. Just like how fire can turn small sticks into bright flames and make calm water bubble and boil, we ask that You come into our world with such amazing strength that every country and person will know that You are the one true God.
We pray that people everywhere will see Your greatness, making those who stand against You shake with fear, and helping everyone witness how mighty You are. We ask You to show Yourself today with the same power that Isaiah wrote about in the Bible. Please fill our hearts with Your holy love and power, like a burning fire, so that people everywhere will know how great You are.
Amen.
