Today’s Bible Verse:
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
As Your beautiful light shines through all the dark times in our world, we come to You with thankful hearts. You promised to light the way for Your people, so please shine Your light on us today. When things feel dark and scary, help us remember that You are always here, like the sun rising each morning to chase away the darkness.
Give us the strength to stand up and show Your goodness to others, so they can see Your truth through us. Let Your light shine from inside us to bring hope to everyone and help guide people who are looking for Your wisdom. We ask that You work through our lives, making us carriers of Your bright light in this world.
