Today’s Bible Verse:
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God, remind me that keeping your commandments is love. Sometimes I feel like your path is too heavy when faced with life’s challenges, but you tell us that they are not burdens. Equip me with the faith to overcome the world.
Give me victory through my faith that Jesus is your Son. Give me the strength to love your commandments in my daily life. When I face worldly worries, remind me that I have already won the victory as your child. Help me to be victorious again each day through my faith. Amen.
