Today’s Bible Verse:
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I come to You today wanting to truly hold on to Your teachings. Lord, please help me be a real follower, not just someone who talks about it but someone who lives it out every day.
As I read Your Word and try to follow Your ways, please show Your truth to my heart, truth that can break all the lies and wrong things that hold me back.
I give You those parts of my life where I’m still trapped, trusting that Your truth will set me completely free. Please use me to help others find this freedom too when they’re stuck in similar situations.
In Jesus’ name, I accept both the duty of being Your follower and the promise of freedom that comes when I faithfully obey Your truth.
Amen.
