Today’s Bible Verse:
…till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
please fill our empty hearts today. Change our spiritual emptiness into a life full of meaning. We really need Your refreshing touch. Help goodness and right living grow where nothing existed before.
When we feel anxious, give us Your perfect peace. When we’re unsure, give us lasting confidence. We give our empty places to You. Bring Your good results into our lives, the calmness that comes when we fully trust You. Fill us until Your goodness overflows from us.
