Today’s Bible Verse:
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12, RSV
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
Please light up our way with Your light as we go through this confusing and sometimes scary world. Help us be wise enough to follow Your Son Jesus, whose light shows us what’s true and leads us to forever life with You. Let us share Your light through the good things we do each day, helping others who might be going through dark times in their lives.
When times get tough and problems come our way, make our faith stronger so we can trust that Your light will always be there. Let Your light fill our hearts and change how we think, so we can help others with the same love You’ve given us. Help us shine Your light like a bright lamp of hope in this world, so other people can see how amazing You are and find their way to Your forever kingdom.
