Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
We come to You today with thankful hearts. We’re grateful that You’ve given us new life through Jesus and shown us a better way to live. Please help us not get too caught up in daily problems and worries, but instead remember that Your kingdom is what really matters.
Lord, change the way we think and feel. Help us stay strong when temporary fun things try to pull us away from You. Instead, help us focus on the forever-lasting gifts You have for us in heaven.
Holy Spirit, guide us to see what’s truly important to You. When stuff in life tries to distract us, make us stronger so we can stay focused on Your plan and on Jesus, who sits next to You in heaven.
Help our thoughts and actions show Your wisdom, not just what the world thinks is smart. We trust that Your plan is perfect, and we want everything we do to honor You.
