Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
We come to You today with thankful hearts. We’re grateful that through Your Son Jesus, You help lift our thoughts and hopes toward Heaven instead of being stuck on earthly things.
Please help us focus on Your plans for us rather than chasing after what the world tells us we should want. Help change the way we think – less about earthly stuff and more about Your wisdom. Let us live in Your truth and follow Your light.
Help us make You our number one priority in everything we do. Instead of running after quick pleasures that don’t last, help us focus on the forever-lasting gifts You offer. We ask Your Holy Spirit to make us stronger, so we can keep our eyes on Jesus, who sits next to You in Heaven.
Let our daily lives show Your goodness to others, and help us be living proof of Your love and kindness in this world.
Amen.
